First Blog

So here is my first blog post. My lovely sister encouraged me to start this and even bribed me with a very pretty layout. Things are pretty slow around here; from the snowstorm that's supposed to drop about a foot and a half to the never-ending pregnancy I am enduring at this point. All I can say is that I am so glad that I am at the very end and have seven days to go. I am so ready to get rid of this gut and finally see what my little baby Sophia is going to look like! Chris and I are so excited to see our baby girl. Everything is ready. The car seat is locked and loaded in the car, my bag is packed, crib is all set up, and the massive amounts of baby clothes have been washed, folded, and put away. It's so funny, Chris doesn't want to leave the house because he's so afraid and anxious that I'm going to go into labor when he's not here. And he'll even talk to my stomach and try and coax her out with some well versed baby talk. Who knows, maybe the next time I post I'll have some baby pictures to put up.....with my luck I'll be talking about the snow LOL
